Avery fetching golf balls

Best Buddies....

The kids & I headed to Greenville to visit the Dombrowski crew and spend 4th of July with their family. We had so much fun playing in the sun! It was a beautiful day, not to humid for the Carolinas at all so we stayed outside pretty much all day. Staci and I took the boys and Avery to their pool for a few hours to splash around and watch them squirt each other in the face with water guns. Then it was to the backyard to play on the slip-n-slide, get a quick sword flight in, BBQ, cocktails, and get ready for Jeff's big evening firework display. Here are a few snapshots of our FUN filled 4th!! Thanks again D family for an AMAZING time!! We love u guys!!

Cleaning house...

This picture says it all about Miss Avery...like mother like daughter! Avery has to DO EVERYTHING I do 24-7. This girl LOVES to clean! Every time I get out the mop bucket and supplies she always says "I wip up"...translation~ I wipe it up!! I caught her in the cleaning act this morning playing with my rubber gloves. It was too cute of a pic to pass up. I hope she keeps this cleaning stuff up as she goes through her adolescent years. Thanks, sissy for all your help!

MileHigh Camping

MileHigh Campground...6,630 feet~ We were up there! The views were amazing!

Reece found a turtle and named him Walden...the kids kept him for the night in a tote made of leaves and fed him lettuce. It was a tearful morning when Reece let him go back to his family. The turtle sleepover was the highlight of his camping trip!!!

Daddy & Reece on our hike to the waterfall...

Backpack kisses for daddy!

This week Kelly had a few days off so we packed up the kids, hitched up the camper and headed for the mountains. When we pulled into MileHigh Campground we were greeted by the most amazing views the Smoky's have to offer. We are really enjoying spending time in the mountains with the kids. It is so fun to watch them play in the woods gathering sticks for the fire, looking for creatures, and splashing in the streams. Here are a few pictures of our hiking adventures, views from the campsite, and our new friend "Walden" the turtle!

A day at the pool...

Avery going down the slide with Reece right behind her!

Emily, Reece, & Abby...sun was so bright I am lucky I got this pic!

Sissy loved her lifejacket. She was bobbing all over the pool and loved being in the water.

Yesterday was spent with my friend Amy and her darling daughters Emily & Abby! We packed a picinc lunch and all the beach toys and towels we could carry loaded up the cars and headed to the pool at the Y. We spent all day there watching the kids splash, crash, and swim there little hearts out. I don't know who was more tired by the end of the day...the kids or the mommy's!!
We then went back to her house for dinner, bubbles, wine for the moms, and a wagon ride around the neighborhood to top off the night! We had a packed day and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks Amy!! :)
